About Caroline

Caroline Maguire, M.Ed. ACCG, PCC

Caroline Maguire, M. Ed., earned her undergraduate degree at Trinity College and her Masters of Education and Early Childhood Development at Lesley University with a specialization in social emotional learning (SEL).

Caroline is the author of the award winning book, Why Will No One Play With Me?, a playbook of foolproof scripts on how to communicate with anyone, in any situation, and how to ensure the message registers with the recipient.

She the founder of a comprehensive Social Emotional Learning (SEL) training methodology for adults, parents, clinicians and academic professionals on how to cultivate emotional regulation, emotional intelligence, social-awareness and responsible decision-making skills. She is the founder and director of The Fundamentals of ADHD Coaching for Families training curriculum at  ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) – the only Coach Training program accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

After several years as a highly respected social skills clinician at the Hallowell Center Boston MetroWest, Ms. Maguire formed her own private practice. She is a sought-after lecturer and workshop facilitator on various topics related to social, emotional and behavioral learning. She lives with her husband and two children in Concord, MA. Caroline is originally from Cape Cod, where she still enjoys spending long summer days with her happily hyperactive cousins and family members.

As someone who wants to reach and support as many families as possible, Caroline can be found:

  • Offering training classes on parenting ADHD children. (CHADD certified parent-to-parent coach)
  • Mentoring future coaches attempting to pass their ICF certifications as well as helping them build their own family coaching practices. (Teleclass leader at the ADD Coach Academy)
  • Leading social skill groups and consulting with dozens of local schools throughout New England to help build awareness and improve their students’ skills.
  • Continuing her own education through industry-related certifications. (Recently completed the clinical training program (Level 1A) at Social Thinking.)
